Keen for a staycation? Read on!
Let me share with you why Oasia Hotel should be one of your choices!
It was my first time to join in for a tour at a hotel. Usually, I only get to tour a hotel when I have a staycation or during travel. Having exploring the different types of rooms at Oasia Hotel, I’m very impressed with its interior design, thoughtfulness, respect and cares the hotel brings to out every guest.
Location of Oasia Hotel is at Novena, next to Novena Square/Square shopping malls. It’s also a few MRT stops away from Orchard and the city!
Oasia Hotel has been exquisitely designed by award-winning Japanese architect-cum-designer, Takashi Sugimoto from Super Potato, famous for their cutting-edge designs that are based on natural elements.
Check out the cozy corridor (to the rooms) that’s designed!
There are a total of 428 rooms available at Oasia Hotel.
- 88 Superior rooms
- 224 Deluxe rooms
- 100 Club rooms
- 4 Club suites
- 12 rooms for special needs
Superior and Deluxe rooms look almost the same to me, the difference lies on the designs and furniture layout in the rooms.
Superior and Deluxe rooms
Despite there’s no bathtub in Deluxe (and Superior) rooms, the bathroom is still spacious enough to enjoy a good shower after a long tiring day.
In every room, there’s safe box to keep laptops, charging is also available inside safe box!
Beverages and snacks are daily topped up.
All bathrooms are equipped with rain shower and bath amenities
What I love in every of the rooms at Oasia Hotel is what I call the “R&R” corner by the windows. Feels awesome to have some quiet moment in this corner, reading a book and with soothing music playing from the iPod compatible sound system in the room!
There’s bath tub! I don’t know why, when comes to staycation, bathtub is like one of the must-have in the room. To me, without soaking oneself in the bathtub for just an hour is NOT consider a staycation at all! ^_^
This is the most luxurious room in Oasia Hotel! My first sight when I entered Club Suite was the spacious living room with the spectacular panoramic view of the city!
The living room is already very bright without switching on the lights, it’s just like at our own living room at home!
In this living room there’s also an additional toilet for guests!
The cozy corners in the room are designed to create a homely-stay for the every guests who stay at the Club Suites.
On one of the walls, there’s this sculpture design from Super Potato. Love this woody feel in the room!
Bedroom at Club Suite! This bedroom has the best view of the city in my opinion. It also has this “see-through” window into the bathroom where the bathtub is. Imagine you are looking the scenery while your spouse is soaking at the bathtub, then on and off you peep at each other? LOL!
When comes to recreational facilities, there are:
- Spa pool at level 8
- Roof terrace at level 8
- Fitness Centre at level 8
- The Oasia Club at level 22 (There’s a sheltered pool with sunset view and a lounge area for chill. Only for Club floor guests)
For guests who come over for a business stay, Oasia Hotel provides meeting rooms and the necessary equipments every businessman will need during the stay.
My small findings when I toured the meeting rooms!
There’s a dining restaurant (Zaffron) at level 1. A la Carte and international buffet is available daily for the guests. Japanese, Chinese and Italian restaurants are located on level 1 & 2.
Oasia Club at level 22 is an awesome place to chill! This is where the executive lounge, The Living Room, locates. It can be accessed by Oasia Club guests at 24 hours a day.
Overhere, there’s breakfast, complimentary cocktails and canapes served daily from 6pm to 8pm. Yep, it’s free flow!
There are also a private 20-metre lap pool and jacuzzi, surrounded by a spectacular panoramic skyline views,
The private pool at The Living Room is one of the highest hotel pools in Singapore!
Be sure to catch the sunset while relaxing in the pool or resting at the available seats at the sunset deck.
How about a massage while enjoying a sunset view at the Club pool?
