Executive Cafe At NTU

here comes another food review from me! hee!
this time, it’s on Executive Cafe at the North Spine (N2) of NTU, it’s just one level above Sakae, same level as Canteen A.
you can enter via any of the two entrances.
one entrance is from Canteen A, another from North Spine staircase.

Food Lovers, C’mon In!

Canteen A Japanese Food

there was one famous Japanese food stall in NTU during my study days.
it was first located at Hall 10.
when it got famous, the stall was shifted to Canteen A which was more accessible to more students. =)
as usual the queue was super long!
went back recently to try the food again, got disappointed. the stall owners had changed and the food portion became smaller, the rice was not as hot as it used to be. =(
but then, it’s still quite slightly above the average standard. you should try the mash potato, it’s still nice! am glad luckily the mash potato recipe is there, or maybe because that’s so easy to prepare. lolz

as for the fruits, i bought them from the fruits stall, not the Japanese stall ya. =)

overall, it’s still quite an economical meal!

Zhi Cha At NTU Hall 3

here comes the review for the Zhi Cha (煮炒) at Hall 3! ^.^
Sweet & Sour Pork
Seafood Vegetables
Fu Yong Dan (Egg Omelette with prawns!)

i shall post more pics if i managed to find them ya! my school mates and i used to have meal overthere during special occasions like birthday etc. arhz, those were the days, i miss those school days…

Nice Food At NTU North Spine

This entry is to introduce some of the nice food since the renovation at North Spine Canteen A. There was once a popular stall in Canteen A selling western food, always a long queue during meal hours. Main reason was because we could change here and there on the side dish of the main course. be it rice to fries, to fruit salad or to wedges, they allowed us to change despite the fact that there was a long queue and changing the menu here and there could be very confusing. =) another reason as to why the stall was popular because all the main courses were freshly grilled, fried etc. Passby this Bistro at North Spine and went to check it out. Saw the female boss and the male chef. 5 years had passed and i still recognized them eh! haha! then i realized they has been doing so well that they went to open a bistro restaurant at NTU and no longer rent a stall in Canteen A. prices were affordable, only SGD4-6 for a main course. portion is reasonable as well.

Besides the Bistro is the Sakae! woahz, Sakae in NTU! went in to take a look at their prices, piangz, not much cheaper than outside! Not many customers inside the restaurant, i feel it is too expensive to have such prices in a campus.

but the ambience and decoration were not bad. sorry readers, no pics on that, i forgot to take. >.< anyway, there was a good Zhi Cha (煮炒) at Hall 3, i will be reviewing on that soon! Hall 3 has been rebuild near NIE, besides Hall 16, pretty near to North Spine. my favourite Zhi Cha (煮炒) during my stay in NTU! ^.^

Memories From Industrial Attachment

Memories From Industrial Attachment

oh well, decided to post a few pics of myself with my bunch of friends whom i have known during Industrial Attachment.
and yep, we were from different courses in NTU and happened to get along so well~
we would loiter and fool around at work, organize outings almost every Friday after work.

Back then, i loved to say 猪脑 so often that it was like once every 5 minutes,
the words would just come out from my mouth!
they gave me the title "Queen of 猪脑" and called our group, the 猪脑 gang!
haha! anyway, here are some pics, and gosh,
i was weighing 50kg back then, fat, plump, chubby, hamburger!!
*horror*

Memories From Moi Convocation 2006

I was taking a break from work and took a look at my old pics…
saw my convocation pics during my study at NTU.
Aww..
those were the school days…
with craps from my schoolmates…
days and nights mugging the tutorials and projects…
drank tonnes of mocha from the vending machine…
midnight supper for those who stayed in the hostels…

looking back at those silly photos really cheer up my days at work. =)
