[Product Review] But Becky Radiance & Luminous Pearl Mask

Woohoo! Another new mask has launched at Secretive.sg! But, Becky is the latest mask from Taiwan and has Aaron Yan being their endorser for this product.

But Becky, made for asian skin. Not only does it helps relief your skin concerns, this perk also give your skin a lift with its double woven mask sheet designed with ear hooks!

There are a total of 4 types of mask in But Becky range.

Moist-lock Firming HA Mask
HA stands for Hyaluronic Acid and it gives deep hydration to the skin while locking up skin’s moisture at the sametime. Also contains Vitamin B5 and Shea Butter to further moisturize the skin, keeping supple and bouncy.

Age-lock Moisturizing Wild Yam Mask
An anti-aging mask that delays skin aging with the help of Wild Yam. Sebum regulation is improved and skin’s moisture is well-balanced.

Radiance Luminous Pearl Mask
With Pearl and Gingko essence, skin looks fairer, radiant, softer and younger! Whitening, who not loves?

Pure Whitening Job’s Tears Mask
Targeting on the dark spots on the skin. Able to lighten pigmentation too!

Different But Becky masks target on the different issues on the skin.

Here’s my review after trying out the Radiance Luminous Pearl Mask!

I enjoyed the masking session with But Becky. But the scent is abit too sweet for my liking. When I first torn open the packaging, the scent was still alright. But when I had the mask sheet on my face, I find the scent rather too sweet and a little choking for me.

But I like how the mask sheet fitted nicely on me with my chin, jaws lifted up by the ear hooks.

The wasn’t alot of difference by just a one-time masking session. But I did notice a slight improvement on my skin’s radiance, the cheek bone and jawline.

Because the skin had also been moisturized by the masking essence, it felt supple and soft after masking.

For a box of 8 pcs selling at only SGD14.90, it’s quite a reasonable price for the quality I can expect.

Gonna mask it again for the next few days, I am targeting to finish the whole box before February and see what the result is!

#Review# BRTC Stem Cell Masks – Morning Glory, Edelweiss

Tried out 2 face brightening masks from BRTC Stem Cell range before my Europe trip this Friday. I sure need some nice radiance and moisture on my face before the trip which is going to be a dry and cold one.

BRTC Stem Cell masks come in a box of 5 pcs, S$25/box.

Here are my reviews on 2 of the 6 masks which I’ve received from Sasa SG. I love the results and will be back to review the remaining 4 in December.

Starting with BRTC Morning Glory Stem Cell mask. This is mad love!

Check out the quality of the mask sheet, made of lyocell fibers with 100% natural, biodegradable, and skin-affinitive cellulose.

Notice there is a pattern printed on the mask sheet? Reminds me of those body cell drawings which I’ve seen in Bio-science.

I love how the mask sheet provides optional masking for the eyelids and lips! Yes, I mean lips! Super nice to also moist the lips while masking the face right, afterall who will want to talk during masking, unless she is not afraid of wrinkles. This maybe a myth, then again, why keeps moving (it moves if you talk) the skin when it is supposed to resting and absorbing the nutrients during masking?

The result is instant and very obvious. It purifies the skin with morning glory callus extract. My skin looks so clear during the day!

Before masking, my skin looks dull with slight flakiness.

After

Flakiness isgone and skin gets brightened up after masking! My skin feels/looks freshen up!

My bare skin looks so glowy under natural sunlight lighting shone from my room’s window! It’s my first time to see such a nice glow!

After revitalize my face, I follow up with a moisturizing mask the next day.

BRTC Edelweiss Stem Cell, with Edelweiss callus extract that is supposed to replenish the moisture loss on dry skin, and add some radiance to the skin.

Immediately after I remove the mask sheet,, I still feel an excess of the essence on my skin. So as not to waste it, I give my face a gentle massage using the essence. Guess what, my skin feels soft and bouncy!

So far, the two masks from BRTC Stem Cell have not fail my expectation. It helps to prep my skin for the cold weather by giving some sufficient moisture before it gets worsen under the harsh environment.

My skin now feels ready to face the dry environment after the masking with Morning Glory Stem Cell and Edelweiss Stem Cell.

#Review# BRTC Vitalizer skincare range says bye bye to dull skin!

It’s BRTC products again! Previously I blogged about 4 popular BB creams from BRTC, in this blogpost, I am sharing my review on BRTC Vitalizer range of products.

First to review is the foam cleanser, Vitalizer White Soap, that comes in 200ml. What makes the cleanser different from most is it is made up of many vitamin concentrated capsules which not only cleanses the skin, but also keeping the skin moisturized with a layer of protective firm on the skin after cleansing.

See the orange beads inside the cleanser? Those beads are the vitamin capsules that burst during cleansing. They very gentle on the skin and that does the cleansing effectively. I can hardly feel the beads.

The cleanser smells orangy, just 1-2 pumps are enough to create the sufficient foam on my skin. Most foam cleansers tend to make my combination skin a little after washing. But Vitalizer White Soap is able to keep my skin clean, moist and soft after washing.

One of the basic steps after cleansing is toning/softening the skin, to prep it for moisturizer after that. Vitalizer Fluid acts as a toner that contains Vitamin A, B3, B5, C & E, which helps in skin whitening and revitalization.

How I apply is, take 1-2 pumps and pat it all over my face. It does provide some moisture to the skin.

After toning, eye cream and ampoule are next.

Bright Eye Vitalizer Cream has the same texture of a lip balm, but comes in a much thicker size. It targets on spots and pigmentation, and dull skin.tone.

I am a little not used to the application. What I do is, I roll it on my under eyes and pigmentation areas. I will give it a few rolls before using my finger to massage.

Ampoule, has always been said to hold the most concentrated nutrients and ingredients. Vitalizer C10 Ampoule includes 10% of Vitamin C stabilized through bio polymer process. (Pure Vitamin C is not stable unless process) It adds as a skin booster to achieve brightened up skin tone.

Vitalizer C10 Ampoule i s my pick for this BRTC Vitalizer skincare range. I love how it can absorb well into my skin without making the skin feeling too heavy and sticky.

Vitalizer White Gel is the least product I like in the range. The gel-like texture makes my skin feels heavy and sticky.

Just like Vitalizer White Soap, it contains plenty of Vitamin capsules.

Vitalizer White Gel is supposed to be a fantastic product that provides intense moisture to the skin, giving the maximum boost to a brighter skin. But too bad, I don’t like the sticky feel it leaves on my skin. Even if I try to leave it as a sleeping mask or wipe it off after application, my face feels uncomfortable from the stickiness.

Vitalizer White Cream contains alot of VitaminA, B3, B5, and E to help to firm up the skin as well as skin brightening.

The cream-based texture is still not so bad, not as heavy as what I have expected. Good to use it as day moisturizer.

Vitalizer Mask provides intense moisture, helps skin to achieve a brightened up skin tone.

The high-quality mask sheet lies comfortably on my skin, feeding my skin with fruit ingredients which fight against melanin production. It’s also an anti-oxidant mask that softens the skin on top of moisturization.

#Review# Lovemore Snail Mucin Healing & Hydrating Mask

Lovemore latest mask, Snail Mucin Healing & Hydrating Mask, comes in a box of 5 sheets arrive at my doorstep recently!

Snail Mucin seems to be the hype recently, and is like a precious found in Korean skincare.

Snails do not experience skin infections. It’s the secretion (snail mucin) produced inside their cells that help to protect them from skin infection. This secretion is like a serum formulated inside skincare products to keep the skin clear of acne, rosacea and stretch marks etc.

And since Snail Mucin is well-known for its skin healing properties, Lovemore has come up with Snail Mucin as one of their ingredients to target on healing and repairing on top of hydrating and firming through masking.

Collagen fibre is also used as a better filler to fill-in skin tissues and form a protective layer on the skin to prevent moisture loss.

Hyaluronan content in the mask essence ensures younger and fresher feel and touch!

The mask sheet is so thin that I can see through my fingers behind. The thin sheet helps to ensure a better fit of the mask on my face.

After:

After masking, skin feels hydrated with less visible lines on the skin’s surface.

I will say regular use may improve skin moisture level, and in return reduces visibility of the fine lines, maintain skin’s firmness and delay aging skin.

Following my review on Sexylook Intensive Moisturizing Cotton Mask, here’s another review on Sexylook Intensive Repairing Cotton Mask.

Mask quality, cutting, material are all the same as Moisturizing Cotton Mask. The cotton mask fits gently on my skin, there’s no irritation or discomfort.

Sexylook Intensive Repairing Cotton Mask targets on hydrating and repairing the skin.

Its main ingredients:

• Activated Carbon-infuse – Absorb dirt and excessive sebum
• Rock rose extract – Hydrate the skin to achieve natural glow
• Obsidian extract – Promote skin regeneration, repair

Feels so reluctant to post this photo again, me wearing the black cotton mask. I look like I am robber!

I put on the mask for about 20 minutes, throughout the masking session, I think I smell of herbal soup.

No rinsing is required after masking. There is alot of essence reminding, and I will just give my face a gently massage, followed by light pats to ensure the essence and nutrients are well-absorbed into my skin.

Not much visible difference on my before-and-after photos. Less redness and more refined pores are noticeable. After masking, I can really feel my skin is well hydrated and supple.

Previously, I have only heard of the black deep cleansing masks from KOSE and Daiso. These two are basically in soft clay texture and suppose to harden during masking. They are very effective in removing impurities in the pores and skin detoxifying. The only con for me is, I have to endure the S.H.I.O.K pain while removing the mask.

Recently I get to try out a new mask. It’s a new product from Sexy Look, performing similar functions from those deep cleansing mask, but is in the form of a mask sheet which comes in black.

Sexy Look Intensive Moisturizing Black Cotton Mask, made of black cotton, infused with activated carbon to deep cleanse the skin.

It promises to detox the skin, unclog the clogged pores, remove impurities and excess oil sebum on the skin.

The black cotton material is very thin, and seems to me it can be easily torn.

I like how the black cotton mask sheet is able to sit nicely on my face without falling off.

Unlike the stinging sensation that one usually feel when masking deep cleansing mask from Daiso, KOSE, TheBodyShop, my face feels relax and comfy during masking.

Blackcurrent is one of the added ingredients in Sexy Look Intensive Black Cotton mask. It helps with nutrient circulation and gives radiance to the skin.

Other ingredients will be vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidant and black pearls which are nurtured in the ocean! They give great mousturization to the skin!

Intensive moisturizing is achieved because of the Rockrose ingredient used in the formulation.

#Review# Lovemore French Caviar Anti-Wrinkle & Firming Mask

Lovemore masks never fail to cheer me up with its uber cute envelope packaging!

I get to try this new flavour, French Caviar which targets on wrinkles & firming.

Have tried this mask twice last week, though I didn’t manage to see any specific results on wrinkles and firming, I notice less flakiness on my dry cheeks!

The scent and the thick essence soaking the mask make masking session very relax.

A little rave on the mask sheet quality! The material is soft and smooth, almost similar to those cellular mask sheet. It fits nicely and firmly on my face, I can walk around my house with my mask on!

It’s pretty thin, I can almost see through it and it feels like a 2nd layer on my skin!

It’s amazing how such a thin mask sheet can contain so much essence!

4 improvements implemented on Lovemore French Caviar, more hydrating than Hyaluronic Acid, good mask sheet quality, smaller essence molecules and better absorption into the skin.

Before masking, my cheeks looked a little dry with slight flakiness. With just a 20 mins having Lovemore French Caviar on my face, the hydration remove the dryness.

Here’s my review on Hydro Boost Night Concentrate Sleeping Pack from Neutrogena.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost is really like a moisture boost for my skin during my sleep. Everynight I am always sleeping in air-conditioned room. No doubt that I do put on night cream before sleep, I still wake up with an oily face. It’s like my night cream has been absorbed or evaporated when I sleep, due to lack of moisture, my skin produces excess sebum to moisture itself. I don’t really like this feeling.

The texture is very light, and has this tiny blue beads on it. The blue beads aren’t meant for scrubbing the skin. After massaging, the blue beads begin to dissolve. Spreading of the sleeping pack is smooth and messy-free.

What happens in the “Progressive Release System” from the sleeping pack is, it has the ability to provide continuous moisture to the skin because of the high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid, Olive extract and Ionic Mineral Complex. These 3 key ingredients help to improve skin’s moisture, preventing fine lines, while keeping the skin supple.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate Sleeping Pack is meant to be applied only in the night where rinsing is not required. It acts a like a moisturizing mask on my skin when I sleep. Because the texture of the cream is very light, other than a bit of stickiness, I don’t see it as an issue to make my sleep uncomfortable.

However, night moisturizer is still recommended to be used before applying Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate Sleeping Pack. It’s like sealing up the moisture from my moisturizer, keeping my skin more moisturized than before!

When I wake up the next morning, the first thing I will do is to rinse off the protective layer on my skin which feels supple and smooth even before facial wash is used!

Definitely one of the best sleeping pack I’ve ever used!

After trying out Lovemore Electric Ore Peptide Duo Lifting Mask recently, I am back with another “flavour”.

Love More Kiss Purple Crystal Duo Lifting Mask, sounds good? YES IT IS!

Instead of showing before and after photos on my face and pigmentation, I will be sharing the photos on my neck lines.

What makes Love More Kiss Purple Crystal Duo Lifting Mask effective is because of two main ingredients, Crystals and Peptides.

Crystals are well-known for their healing properties. Regenerate, energize and revitalize the skin are their forte.

Peptides is often related to anti-aging. They help to stimulate collagen production under the skin, improve the skin texture and elasticity.

If I am to compare this with Love More Electric Ore Peptide Duo Lifting Mask, the first obvious one will be the scent. Love More Kiss Purple Crystal Duo Lifting Mask has a stronger scent which reminds of perfume. It smells a tad too sweet for my liking.

2nd difference, when comes to brightening, Love More Electric Ore Peptide Duo Lifting Mask has a better result.

But when comes to fine lines on the neck, Love More Kiss Purple Crystal Duo Lifting Mask gives a more define result.

Both provides the same amount of hydration to my skin, and no breakouts from any of the masks.

#Review# Sexylook Extreme Whitening Duo Lifting Mask

Following my blogpost on Sexy Look mask sheets which I’ve received at the bloggers event, here’s my review on the Sexylook Extreme Whitening Duo Lifting Mask which contains black pearl and white truffles extracts.

Basically it’s a mask sheet that focuses on face brightening.

Main ingredients are black pearl, white truffles, aloe vera, cucumber, tranexamic acid, barley extract and many other whitening extracts. The final result after masking is a brightened up skintone, moisturized skin. Long-term usage may even helps to lighten pigmentation.

Just like the duo lifting masks from Sexy Look, Sexylook Extreme Whitening Duo Lifting Mask comes with the stretching and lifting flaps for the jaw line and chin. I can really feel the mask sheet is firming and tightening my face during masking.

The pre-soaked mask sheet has quite an amount of essence for my face. Alot of remaining essence is left on my skin even after I removed the mask sheet.

I pat dry my face and face feels smooth and supple.

Pigmentation lightening isn’t very obvious here, but I like how my skintone looks even out and brightened up.
