#Review# Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24 Hr – Intense & Vibrant colours for the eyes!

I was invited to the Maybelline Fab Fashion Flea last weekend! Just like the previous Maybelline events held at Zouk, it’s all about what colours of eye makeup to go with the various outfits from blogshops to create a different look.

A total of  8 colours were showcased at the event. But I did a search and realized there are more than 8 colours for this new range! I chanced upon 05 Too Cool and 30 Promegranate Punk!

Anyway all the intense 8 colours which I’ve done a swatch are so vibrant that no one should have problem putting the colours. Even if it’s just a light tab, the colours are noticeable enough.

Not all colours give a metallic finish.

The best of all is, the colours are super long-lasting! They are also smudge-proof despite their creamy texture! Even when I tried to use a normal wet wipes to clean them off, the colours remain vibrant and intact on my skin! I had to use a proper makeup remover from Maybelline to fully clean them off. So I guess that explains why the name “Colour Tattoo 24 Hr” ?

Above: Tenacious Teal

Above: Emerald Green

I got myself two colours from this new range, Tenacious Teal and Edgy Emerald. Both give the metallic finish and the reason why I choose them is that, I can blend the two colours together to create a slight gradient look on my eyelids!

Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24 Hr is retailing at SGD15.90/pot, available at Guardian, Watsons, selected departmental stores, major supermarkets and hypemarts.

One good news here is that, for the month of January, instead of SGD15.90, Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24 Hr will be available at a promotional price at SG12.90!

For more details on Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24 Hr, find out more at Maybelline’s website.

Back at the flea event, I grabbed two apparels from VainGloriousYou (VGY)! Thanks to Tricia and her helper for their recommendations!

I was contemplating between size S and M, the ladies recommended me size S for both pieces, which turned out to fit me well enough!

My first piece was a lacey dress in Navy Blue. Yet to be launched. So I recommened whoever loves lace and oriental kind, cheongsam-styled dresses, this piece is a keep!

What caught me to buy this piece is because of the lace overlay at the dress hem. That is super pretty!

Available in size XS, S, M, L. Comes in red, navy, nude beige and 1 more colour which I cannot recall.

Second piece is a launched and a manufactured piece from VGY

VGY Primrose Structured Peplum Top in Floral Lilac (with satin blue trimming)

Available in size S, M, L. Can be paired with a short tight skirt for office wear or a pair of shorts for a casual weekend date! There is a side zip attached as well.

Despite I missed the fashion show at the event due to the bad weather, my trip was not wasted at all, with makeup and clothes that I left the event with me!

Za Cosmetics x Les Affaires for the girlies!

“Kissy Kissy Kiss!”

Newly launched lipglosses and lipsticks from Za Cosmetics, Lip Drops and Pure Shine.

A total of 20 colours, each with very girlish and fruity names, make the lippies sound so yummy on the lips!

Lip Drops!

Plus points of Lip Drops lipgloss:

  • Dewy gloss and give the lips a plumping effect
  • Collagen complex is formulated in the lipglosses
  • Hyaluronic Acid and Evening Primrose Oil are ingredients which help to moisturize the lips
  • Vitamin E

Packaging-wise, each tube comes with a diagonally-cut applicator tip that fits just nice on the lips. Because it’s in tube type packaging, it’s easy to press and release the lipgloss. Each tube has its own floral packaging that evokes the image of love!

Lip Drops range has this fruity scent of orange and mixed fruits, on top of the floral scent from Jasmine, Rose and some herbs.

The first colour that caught my eyes was 04 Cupid Heart. It’s also the lightest shade in the Lip Drops range. It’s almost transparent when applied.

05 Totally Cute gives a very light orange tint, but it’s also transparent when applied on the lips.

When comes to lipgloss, I prefer a shade with a light tint of pink or orange.

09 Love Letter was one of the pink shades that I picked. It was really pink and doesn’t make the lips overdo despite it’s pink! My Pick was 09 Love Letter!

02 Girl Charm is quite close to the colour of a French rose bonbon.

Basically, Lip Drops consists of 4 different categories names to categorize the 10 colours.

Secret Siren – The uber dark red, all about keeping the man enthralled and mesmerized by the red lips!

  • 01 ALways Yours
  • 10 I’m Yours

Blushing Barbie – The bright red category that describes a shy girl who blushes easily and leaves an unforgettable first impression.

  • 02 Girl Charm
  • 06 Love Bug
  • 07 My Happiness

Kawaii Cutie – The very sheer colours range, emphasizing how adorable and kawaii the girl is!

Girly Charm – A tint of pink shade, that reminds one of the girl-next-door with an unassuming charm.

  • 08 Ever After
  • 09 Love Letter (My Pick!)

Lip Drops cost $11.90, available at Watsons.

Pure Shine!

Just like Lip Drops, Pure Shine also has 4 sub-range of the lipsticks.

English Rose – Talks about enhancing the natural rosy tone on the lips.

  • 02 Muance Rose
  • 04 Salmon rose

Pink lady – Needless to say, it is all about pink!

  • 01 Petal Pink
  • 05 Pretty Pink
  • 08 Shell Pink

Red Hot – All things red!

  • 06 Lady Red
  • 09 Red Coral

Coralicious – Coral is usually my 2nd choice, alternative for pink!

My pick: 10 Mango Passion, which belongs to the Coralicious range.

Pure Shine lipsticks are retailing at $17.50.

Event was held at Les Affaires located at Wisma Atrium. Za Cosmetics did a collaboration with Les Affaires. It was a girly affair where we talked about how difference lip colours can bring out the different looks with the different apparel at Les Affaires.

Les Affaires brought in quite alot of comfy high-quality made sleepwear, which are versatile enough to transform into an outfit for weekend date. And with the new lip colours from Za Cosmetics, mix and match to transform into many different looks everyday!

I bought one for myself at the end of the event!

Multi-tiered lace dress, with different materials on each layer. I love the fluffy feel when I put it on.

The event theme was all about kisses and lips, and it’s so nice of the nice ladies from Za Cosmetics to prepare a foldable lip-shaped shopping bag!

Event the product handouts were in lip-shaped booklets, so sweet!

Eyes Groovy

At the same time, 2 new colour palettes added to the Eyes Groovy range which I’ve introduced in my blogpost here.

Plus points of Eyes Groovy palettes:

  • High fidelity colours
  • Microfine powder that blends over very easily
  • Vitamin E to care for the skin

Can’t wait to try out the new eye colours, Mauve Berry and Glamourous Glow.

Look out for my lippie pics on instagram (username sunkisstiffy)!

Each palette costs $18.50.

Ribbon Tote Bag from Danxuan.livejournal.com

Fan of tote bag?

Here’s one tote bag which I have received from Danxuan! I totally dig its size because  my bulky laptop can fit in! No longer have to carry the black thick bulky laptop bag!

Measuring  30cm (L) x 27cm (H) x 10cm (W), it’s spacious inside!

I am able to stuff in my barang barang without having the bag looking bulging out here and there. My barang barang consists of bag organiser, makeup pouch, camera, 1.5cm-thick cards holder, packets of tissue and wet tissue, bug bunch of keys, portable mobile battery, mobile phone, etc.

And surprisingly the handle is able to withstand the weight of my laptop so far.

The handles and compartments are all neatly sewn, and this maybe the reason why it can withstand my laptop weight.

I love the gold-plated ribbon attached on the bag. It adds a girly feel to the tote bag.

Made of faux leather which somehow turns out to be pretty soft after a few times usage.

Loving the depth of the ribbon tote bag. Inside has two open compartments and a zipped compartment.

Initially, I have thought I would have problem matching the bag with my outfits because of its colour combination. But it turns out it’s not that difficult at all!

Because of the cream, I paired with a daffodil yellow dress.

The bright colours of the Ribbon tote bag brings out a cheery feel to dull colours outfit, black x taupe

That’s my mum behind me. She must be wondering why I was so vain to camwhore in public!

The colours really standout from my dull outfit of the day.

Then I went to try pairing my Ribbon tote bag with a nautical outfit, blue x white.

I purposely picked this tunic top with a huge velvety designed ribbon to pair with my Ribbon tote bag!

It was like a ribbon outfit day for me that day!

Ribbon tote bag will be launched in Danxuan Ribbon Affair on tomorrow, Friday, at 10am! Available in two colour combinations. Don’t miss the launch!

This Fashion – Still remember?

While clearing my wardrobe, I found this satin floral tube blouse….. bought from THIS FASHION years ago!

Iirc, it was very cheap! Less than SGD20!

Turned out to be my favourite top for clubbing. Why? Because it’s tube (my favourite) and its cutting helps to hide away my tummy, I could drink as much as I could back then!

Because it fits me very well, I refuse to throw it away. I will just pair with a pair of shorts and I am good to head out for the weekend!

It’s the only piece that I still keep and wear, from This Fashion.

My First YELLOW Blazer from Megagamie!

I am not a fan of blazers, never really like formal wear. The only few pieces which I have are in black, another piece in white which I think I’ve thrown it away. So boring in my wardrobe.

The over a dinner with Stellina sometime ago, she decided to let go her Dotted Frenzy blazer in pastel yellow from Megagamie. I put on the blazer on the spot and it was mad love.

The polka dots design under the blazer look so cute. The material is also very comfy. So I decided to buy over from her.

The runches at the sleeves…

The collar…

The fit was just nice. Comes with two side pockets. But it has only one button in front!

Minimal ironing is required, good for me! Alittle difficult to match with pastel yellow, but not an issue for me yet.

Can’t remember how much I’ve paid for it, but it’s really worth my money because of the cushion under the blazer. It can really keep me warm in the office!

[I Love Dressing Up!] Tyra Midi Dress from Agneselle

It has been a long time since I bought from Agneselle. One main reason is the sizing issue. I find their sizing inconsistent. Sometimes, the size S is too tight for me , sometimes it’s a little loose. Another reason is their lack of new designs.

It’s only like last October that I decided to give a try. I bought the Tyra midi dress in mint from Agneselle. I didn’t have a lot of long dresses and when I saw how pretty the laced details on the shoulders are, I commented for it at only SGD27, a reasonable price for a midi dress.

The PTP and sizing fit very well on my. But the neckline seems a little too small for my head to tug in and out during wearing and taking off, even when the side zip is unzipped. LOL.

I just have to squeeze and “shrink” abit here and there. No idea what’s wrong with the cutting but I still try to wear it anyway.

There’s no need for me to add on a belt because the elastic band at the waistline looks okay to me on its own.

I tried pairing with a long vintage necklace, looks okay as well.

Then on another occasion, I put on my detachable crocheted necklace.

This detachable necklace is bought during my Taiwan trip, one of my gorgeous buys!

The embellished pearls add a little vintage and radiance look to my outfit.

Sometimes, outfit be can be this simple. Just need to play around with accessories. :)

[I Love Dressing Up!] Tori dress from Smooch

This is an old buy but I think it’s worth my time to give it a rave.

See the unique fake 2-piece backview? Yes it’s fake, it’s a 1-piece dress. I love how the design is revealing the back, and that’s the first reason why I bought it.

The shoulder cut-out which also gives the idea it’s a 2-piece dress is another plus point why I bought it.

With the cutout here and there on the dress, I see no point in adding too many bling and accessories for this outfit, I will rather have the attention on the cutouts than accessories.

Matching my peachy dress with a super bimbotic pink bag!

I think I look not bad la! *thick-skinned*

[I Love Dressing Up!] Delia dress from Smooch! Simple yet elegant-looking!

Here’s a very short post! I blogged about my Delia dress from Smooch sometime ago over HERE. In that blogpost, the colour theme was like blue and black with a little bit of gold.

In this blogpost, colour theme is blue and white with silver!

Silver from a short pendant and white from my French manicure! Still look good right? :)

I seriously love this dress dress from Smooch. It accentuates my waistline despite the loose cut on me,  and the skirt flows very nicely as I walk.

Mad love!

[I Love Dressing Up!] My best buys from FabFad.LJ and Smooch!

Sharing with you my best buys from Fabfad! Sometime ago, I got my eyes on two pieces from FabFad.

  • Strappy Ts Back Top
  • Crepe Asymmetrical Skirt

I want to rave about how nice and prompt Rebecca, owner of FabFad, is! Initially my skirt was oos by time I commented. But within 2-3 days when the skirt was available again, Rebecca emailed me the good news and updated me with a revised invoice! I think that’s very nice of her to take note of my previous order!

First love here is the Crepe Asymmetrical Skirt.

I love the translucency of the outer layer!

I pair with with a tight-fitting top in denim blue.

I love how the skirt flows and flares as I walk when the wind blows. :)

I added a belt to hide away the elastic band of the skirt.

Second love from FabFad is this Strappy Ts Back Top.

It’s the back design which makes me buy. I think that’s rather unique and airy, feels comfy to wear on a hot day. Am wearing it with a pair of denim shorts, a little casual here.

It’s a little loose for me so I put on a tube top underneath.

The front looks a little plain and that’s when my detachable peter pan collar necklace from Smooch comes in!

I happen to find out another wear of wearing my detachable peter pan collar necklace!

Wearing it the other way round with the ribbons tied infront seems not too bad. Another best buy from Smooch! <3

Anyway the top is in electric blue, colours matching is very flexible here, black and white have got no issue with it.

Blue x White x Black = Never goes wrong.

I love blog shopping!

[I Love Dressing Up!] Blazer with Floral Tube Dress

I am not fan of blazers and haven’t been buying alot. But I am always on a lookout for a decent and yet affordable blazers.

Bought this simple blazer from Taiwan.

What I like about this blazer is, the crochet details at the sleeves!

I thought that’s something which I have yet to see in SG! Plus the material is iron-free, very much worth to buy it back to SG.

After button up, the blazer gives me a nice slimming effect on my body!

In this outfit, I am wearing a floral tube dress underneath. To avoid looking dull with the dark colours around my neckline, I put on a rose gold necklace from MLB.

I am loving my personalized necklace to bits. The rose gold seems perfect with almost all the ouftits!
