[Movie] Wall Street : Money Never Sleeps

I’m a lucky d0ll who managed to RSVP and be picked to attend the
Movie Preview of Wall Street – Money Never Sleeps.
Because it’s a World Premiere, security was pretty tight.
Recording devices were strictly not allowed into the Cinema Halls.
A few halls were reserved at the Cathay for yesterday night’s preview.

Starring:

I like the the way the statistics graph and charts were plotted on the screen,
based on the "buildings height" (watch it and you’ll know what I mean).

It’s not just a story about financial sector crisis, betrayal, bankruptcy, revenge,
Wall Street has some scenes about family bonding…

Michael Douglas played as a role of an ex-prisoner who was released
from the prison after serving his jail sentence.
During his confinement in the jail,
he failed to take good care of his family, leaving her daughter surviving all by herself.
Michael Douglas was a pro in the stocks market, he learnt his lesson and became a writer,
sharing his thoughts with readers.

Afterall all these years, his daughter refused and couldn’t forgive him.
World is small, his daughter was attached to Shai LaBeouf,
who at that point of time, needed help and advice from Michael Douglas.
At the sametime, Shia LaBeouf tried to patch things up between Michael Douglas and his only daughter.

At the same time, Shia LaBeouf faced serious problem in his career and his company,
yet he did not give up, he’s supposed to be one of the brilliant employees in the company.

3 of them faced obstacles. Lies and lost in trust in one another…

But ending was quite expected towards the end of the show, yep, it’s happy ending.

I personally feel the excitement and thrill were not enough, plot was still acceptable.

This movie is certainly not just for the movie-goers who are in the financial sectors,
there wasn’t any technical terms to be understood with difficulty.

Been seeing the trailers on the SMRT platforms, go catch it!
